THE EDFL can today announce provisional start dates for all senior and junior football and netball competitions.
These dates will remain provisional until official government and AFL Victoria return-to-play protocols, including protocols relating to crowd attendance, are finalised and approved.
Confirmation of all fixtures and finals structures will be announced in coming weeks.

MEN’S OPEN AGE FOOTBALL
PREMIER DIVISION (Seniors, Reserves & Under 18.5)
Provisional Start Date: Saturday August 1
Home & Away Season: 9 rounds, ending on Saturday September 26
Finals Series: 3 week, top 4 finals series, commencing on Saturday October 3 and concluding on Saturday October 17
DIVISIONS 1 & 2 (Seniors, Reserves & Under 18.5)
Provisional Start Date: Saturday July 25
Home & Away Season: 9 rounds, ending on Saturday September 19
Finals Series: 3 week, top 4 finals series, commencing on Saturday September 26 and concluding on the weekend of Saturday October 10
THIRDS
Provisional Start Date: Weekend of Saturday July 25
Home & Away Season: 8 rounds, ending on the weekend of Saturday September 12
Finals Series: 2 week, top 4 finals series, commencing on the weekend of Saturday September 19 and concluding on the weekend of Saturday September 26

Home & Away Season: 10 rounds, ending on Sunday, September 20
Grand Finals: 1st v 2nd Grand Final on Sunday September 27. Extra Home & Away round to be played for remaining teams on Sunday September 27.
