Keilor Cricket Club Captain Coach 1985 – 1987
Distinguished career for Essendon CC in First XI
First played Senior cricket at aged 14 with his father, brother and 4 uncles.

Since his playing days, Bruce was also a big advocate and volunteer for the Keilor community, becoming President & Treasurer in later years to ensure he was always giving back to his club.

In recent years, Bruce was attending almost every Keilor game, both home and away and would be one of our most loyal supporters, and often the one you could hear encouraging our players to victory, or letting them know how they could improve.

Bruce is genuinely one of a kind and had an influence on so many within our club, over multiple generations, and this loss is one that we all feel immensely.

Our thoughts at this time are particularly with his family; wife Sue and her children & grand children, kids Sherry, Shane, Danny & partners Justin & Becky, grandkids Kobi & Madisyn, brothers Roy & John & wives Karen & Jenny, and all other family members.

Funeral details have been confirmed;
Wednesday May 8th, from 11:30am
Cordell Chapel – Fawkner Memorial Park (1187 Sydney Road, Fawkner)
There will be a wake following the service at the Keilor Sports Club.

He leaves a legacy, that is unlikely to ever be matched.
Rest in Peace, Bruce.
